Paul Brown
Paul joined Hallett Brown as director in 2025 as part of the restructuring of Hallett and Associates. Having been ACCA qualified for 5 years achieving FCCA status in January 2025. Paul works with clients in all industries and business structures but feels he can add the most benefit to owner managed businesses, property sector, agriculture and inheritance (succession planning).
In 2024 Paul is also qualified to be able to offer Inheritance Tax and Estate Administration which he will be looking to offer through Hallett Brown.
Outside of work Paul is a cricketer for local side Spencer Bruene Cricket Club, playing in the local Northamptonshire League. Paul is also a massive sports fan enjoying almost all sports and is regularly at Northampton Saints while following Tottenham Hotspurs.
Paul also has a young family and enjoys exploring the British Countryside with his wife Laura and 2 children.
Stephanie Chittenden
Steph joined the firm in 2006 after working in industry for several years, bringing industry knowledge to our practice clients.
Outside of work, Steph enjoys the gym, Pilates, and the British countryside with her dog, Beau. Steph also enjoys a good pub quiz. Steph and husband David have two grown-up children, Katie and Harry.
Steph Wallace
Steph has been at Hallett Brown for 5 years, primarily as our payroll advisor. She has since then expanded into Bookkeeping, VAT, and accounts, transferring her skills throughout.
Outside of work, Steph lives with her partner Steven and her little boy Josh, with another little one to be expected! When she’s not busy being mum and housekeeper, she enjoys going to the gym, outdoor activities, and going out for good food.
Helen Heckford
Helen has been with Hallett Brown for 6 years, after previously working for another local practice for 10 years prior. A qualified FCCA Accountant with a Masters in Accountancy and Finance, she enjoys working with a large range of individuals, small businesses and our farming clients.
Outside of work is a busy Mum to two football-mad boys, married to Will and living life on the family farm on the Warwickshire border, with any spare time is usually spent in wellies, either on the sidelines of a sports pitch, in the lambing shed or in the greenhouse if lucky enough.
